I can't remember a time when I haven't wanted to be an actor so the majority of my adolescent life has been spent working towards that goal.
Once I left college with an A level in Drama and Theatre I joined a Stage School (The North West Theatre Arts Company) to get as much experience as possible being on stage where I performed in plays such as DNA by Dennis Kelly, William Shakespeares The Tempest and shows/musicals written by our director Prab Singh. Through this, I also got my first paid job on stage in our annual Christmas Performance (directed by Prab Singh) which we toured around local venues around Manchester.
University allowed me to hone and develop my acting skills, work with industry professionals and perform in plays such as Rules for Living by Sam Holcroft and The Welkin by Lucy Kirkwood. It also gave me my first experience of acting for the camera performing scenes from films such as Ex Machina and short films with fellow students. This is where I discovered my passions lay.
