My name is Jestina Duncan. I'm a domestic abuse Practitioner/Consultant and Podcast host. I founded Living beyond Surviving Projects CIC in 2017 and recently founded Living Beyond Surviving Consultancy in 2021. I’m a Criminal Justice and Criminology graduate whilst working since 2013 with victims of abuse . My work supports & empowers female survivors of domestic abuse allowing women to recover and rebuild confidence, self-esteem and self-worth after the trauma of domestic abuse. I run a Domestic abuse support service based in Birmingham. I support female victims/survivors to overcome the traumatic experience of domestic abuse through our workshop programmes, advice and support services. I also provide domestic abuse training to professionals and the corporate sector for a better understanding of domestic abuse and how best to support their employees who are suffering abuse. Jestina has been nominated on a number of occasions for the unsung hero and Inspirational woman awards. In 2018 I won the Bex live Community organisation award celebrating and acknowledging my work with domestic violence survivors over the years.  I’m a survivor of domestic, physical and emotional abuse. This experience led to my passion to support other victims and survivors.
