Born and raised in Hall Green Birmingham, UK, Saiem has been perfecting his craft as a producer and writer for years.

Urban Hippie Music is more of a vibe than a genre. Saiem describes his style as contemporary music with a nod to the classics.

Growing up he was heavily influenced by American Hip Hop and RnB. As the years went on, and as he developed as a vocalist he later drew influences from motown and the soul singers of the 80's.

Saiem credits singers and performers such as Michael Jackson and Luther Vandross as inspirations along side Hip Hop legends like Nas and Bone thugs n Harmony.

When it comes to production, the Urban Hippie sound looks to the past often for inspiration however is always looking to create something completely new, like producers before him.

The Urban Hippie is also not just a sound but a message. The key inspiration behind the music is hope, love and unity. Saiem is an avid philanthropist, currently serving as a treasurer to a children's charity began by his uncle, and strives to empower young people by promoting positivity, education and compassion.
